Do not ship equipment, components, chemicals, contaminated tooling or samples until Nisene has issued written return authorization and shipping instructions.

Return material authorization

Obtain authorization before returning equipment or components.

Nisene reviews each return request before authorization is issued. Authorization, packaging requirements and shipping instructions are provided in writing.

The RMA process

1. Before requesting an RMA

Review the fault with Nisene service where possible. Some issues are resolved without a return.

2. Information required

Organization, contact, country, item, model, serial number where applicable and a description of the reason for return.

3. Safety and decontamination

The safety and contamination status of the item must be declared. Items carrying chemical residue, sharp components or unknown contamination require review before authorization.

4. Packaging requirements

Packaging instructions are issued with the authorization. Items must be packaged to prevent transit damage and to contain any residue or fragments.

5. Shipping instructions

Shipping destination, carrier arrangements and documentation are issued in writing with the authorization.

6. Inspection and quotation

Returned items are inspected and a repair proposal or quotation is issued where applicable.

7. Repair authorization

Work proceeds only after written authorization of the proposal.

8. Return shipping

Return arrangements are confirmed as part of the authorization and quotation.

9. Non-repairable or unsupported items

Items found to be non-repairable or outside the supported range are reported with the available options.

10. International shipments

Customs documentation, duties and regulatory requirements are the responsibility of the sender unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Return address

The return destination is issued with the written authorization and is specific to the item and territory.

No turnaround time is stated. Inspection and repair timescales depend on the item, the fault and component availability.

Request a return material authorization

Complete the request and declare the safety and contamination status of the item. Nisene will review and, where appropriate, issue written authorization with packaging and shipping instructions.
